Four Core Substrates
VENEER CORE
Veneer core is constructed using all softwood innerplies with poplar/eucalyptus and hardwood face and back. A hardwood plywood constructed using a veneer core is dimensionally stable and has excellent screw holding properties.
MDF COMPOSITE CORE
Features MDF crossband combined with softwood veneer innerplies which provide an ultra smooth surface, excellent machinability and screw holding power. MDF Combination Core provides superior dimensional stability and adds value. Composite core construction is the perfect answer to increasingly thinner fancy i cut hardwood veneers, the calibrated construction allows for less sanding of the hardwood compared to traditional veneer core lay-ups.
PARTICLEBOARD CORE
PARTICLEBOARD CORE is composed of small particles of wood and wood fiber bonded
together with synthetic resin in the presence of heat and pressure.
MDF CORE
MDF CORE is composed of small particles of wood fiber bonded together with synthetic resin and manufactured under extreme heat and pressure, hardwood plywood constructed from MDF is easily machined and has dimensional stability, strength and economy.
